來聽聽外國人對媽祖遶境的感想,超有趣的~

One of the students ask:She does'nt like to follow many traditions. She have followed the Mazu pilgrimage.
(有位同學說,她不喜歡跟隨習俗傳統.但她曾經跟過媽祖繞境.)

白沙屯 Mazu pilgrimage is very popular and important trandition in Taiwan.Many people follow it.
(在台灣,媽祖繞境是很受歡迎和很重要的傳統習俗.很多人都會跟。)

She asked Teacher: Did you have any experience follow the prigrimage?
(同學問老師:您有任何有關繞境的經驗嗎?)

Teacher said: I did'nt follow the Mazu pilgrimage.I remember the frist year That I came to Taiwan,I and My friend went to the waterfall for swimming.
(老師說,我沒有跟過媽祖繞境.我記得第一年來台灣時,我和我朋友去瀑布游泳.)

When we came back,the Mazu pilgrimage the pray came in down the street into the town.It was a circle of people,they had a stick with some sharp nails,
(當我們回程時,媽祖繞境隊伍進入城鎮街道上.有一群人圍成一個圈,他們拿了一根棍子,上面有尖刺)

and they hit themselves on the head,until the head blood,and throw the ghost money on the ground.That's my experiences on Mazu.That's Crazy.
(他們拿著棍子打自己的頭,直到頭流血,這是我對媽祖的經驗。很瘋狂.)

La Tomatina is the biggest tomato fight in the world.
西班牙蕃茄嘉年華是全世界最大的蕃茄戰爭.
It is annually held in Spain on the last Wednesday of August.
每年八月的最後一個星期三在西班牙舉辦.
Everyone on the streets throws tomatoes at each other, just for fun.
在街上,每個人互丟蕃茄,只是為了好玩
You need to buy a ticket in advance to join the tomato fight.
你需要事先買一張票參與這個蕃茄大戰

Cheese-rolling in England 英格蘭滾起司
This tradition has already been held for 200 years in Glouceater.
這項傳統已經舉辦200年
Each year on the last monday of May.
每年五月的最後一個星期天
participants stand on top of the Coopers Hill waiting for an enormous wheel of cheese to roll down the hill.
參加者站在山丘的頂端,等一個大起司滾下山丘
When the cheese starts rolling, everyone tries to chase it while slipping,

tripping and stumbling down the way.

The first one who catches the cheese can keep it!

Blackening of the bride in Scotland 蘇格蘭-黑化新娘

In Scotland, the bride and the groom are ambushed by their friends and covered in all sorts of disgusting substances such as sauces, spoiled curry, smelly fish, and rotten milk and then covered with feathers.
