--時間的英式說法How to say times in British English?

00:00  = 12:00am  = midnight 半夜

12:00  = 12:00pm = midday 中午

--先講分鐘,再講小時

01:00  0ne in the middle of the night 半夜一點

13:00  0ne in the afternoon 下午一點

01:05  One-oh-five = five past one

02:10 two-oh-ten am= two ten am=ten past two (in the moring)

14:10 two-oh-ten pm= two ten pm=ten past two (in the afternoon)

15:15 three fifteen pm = quarter past three (in the afternoon)

04:20 four twenty am =twenty past four(in the moring)

EX: I'll meet you at twenty past four (in the afternoon)我將在16:20與你見面

05:25 twenty five past five(in the moring)

18:30  six thirty = half past six (in the afternoon)

EX: (18-12) substrate 12 from 18   =  18 minus 12 is 6

19:35 seven thirty five = twenty five to eight(剩下25分鐘就八點)

20:40 eight fourty = twenty to nine(念法要注意,不念to ,要念t)

21:45 nine fourty five =quarter to ten(這個要注意聽,如果對方念的是quarter past ten 那就是10:15)

22:50 ten fifty =ten to eleven

23:55 eleven fifty five =five to twelve =five to midnight

10:02  ten-oh-two =two past ten
